Calibration.Plus™
Calibration.Plus™ is Polyrix’s most advanced calibration system, designed to deliver speed, flexibility, and confidence in every scan. It combines a precision-engineered calibration artifact—called the Hypercube—with proprietary software that leverages a photogrammetric fiducial network for enhanced accuracy.
This technology serves three key purposes:
- Rapid calibration: Achieve full calibration in just a few minutes—ideal for high-throughput or inline systems where production cannot be interrupted.
- Volume-scalable accuracy: Adapt the calibration process to any scanning volume, with the option to enhance local accuracy for specific areas of interest.
- Traceability of results: Continuously monitor system accuracy using embedded reference standards. When results begin to drift, automatic recalibration ensures sustained measurement reliability.

Calibration.Plus™ includes:

The Hypercube physical artifact
The Hypercube features certified fiducial markers that support ongoing accuracy verification. As soon as any deviation from expected behavior is detected, the system triggers a recalibration—maintaining traceable, high-confidence results with minimal user intervention. The Hypercube can optionally be integrated in the PolyScan cell (permanently).
Calibration.Plus consists of a technology module and calibration artifact that is fixed in the scanning process.
It provides continuous insurance of accurate results as the system is calibrated proactively, before a need arises.

Calibration.Plus™ uses a high-density fiducial net and spatially distributed reference targets to refine the mathematical model of the scanning volume. This allows the system to correct for environmental variations and drift, ensuring that accuracy is preserved across the entire scanning space—even in large or challenging spaces.
Is Calibration.Plus™ included with PolyScan systems?
Calibration.Plus™ is fully compatible with all PolyScan models but is offered as an optional upgrade. It is not included by default.
What is the Hypercube?
The Hypercube is a precision-manufactured calibration artifact used with Calibration.Plus™. It features a dense fiducial network and traceable reference markers that support both calibration and ongoing system verification.
Does Calibration.Plus™ require stopping production?
No. When used in inline mode, Calibration.Plus™ enables real-time calibration without interrupting the production workflow.
Can Calibration.Plus™ detect accuracy drift over time?
